About the Position

Ikett Personalpartner is looking for a laser operator for Siemens Energy in Trollhättan for long-term needs - with the goal of becoming employed by Siemens Energy.

Job Description:

As a laser operator, you will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and operating fiber laser machines (Trumpf), as well as performing laser cutting and laser welding according to drawings and welding procedures (WPS). The role includes measuring and controlling weld quality according to applicable quality standards, documenting completed work and any deviations, as well as actively participating in improvement work, production meetings, and quality reviews to ensure efficient and quality-assured production.

About You:

We are looking for someone with a background in laser cutting/welding or equivalent and who thrives in an environment where safety, quality, and precision are in focus. You are meticulous, responsible, and structured, with a good ability to collaborate and communicate.

Requirements:

• CNC education or equivalent.
• Experience in laser cutting and welding within the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and welding symbols.
• Understanding of material properties and basic knowledge of laser parameters, fixturing, and clamping.
• Driver's license (B).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift and overhead crane certification.
• Familiarity with LEAN/5S or similar production systems.
• Experience with Trumpf control systems.

Desired start date: Beginning of February, or as agreed.
Working hours: Daytime during the training period, then 2-shift.

The position is a temporary hire through Ikett Personalpartner with very good opportunities for employment with the client.
